Reception Guide

A wide range of occupational (work-related) training is available for improving skills and refreshing professional knowledge. Such training is the responsibility of the town or city councils of the Catalan government, which also supports companies and organisations that provide occupational training.
 
Work and training programmes are given in vocational training centres called Escoles Taller i Cases d’Oficis for those aged under 25, and in occupational workshops (Tallers d’Ocupació) for those aged over 25. The programmes in question are the responsibility of the Ministry of Enterprise and Employment of the Catalan government (Departament d'Empresa i Ocupació de la Generalitat de Catalunya).
