A type of training that is not regulated by the state. Its objective is to certify attendance, the number of hours of training received and the knowledge acquired. Such training is subsidised and provides knowledge for the purpose of doing a job or a specific task, or working in a certain trade. Occupational training can be aimed at employed or unemployed workers.
Non-compulsory studies for young people aged 16 or over who have successfully completed compulsory secondary education. Vocational training prepares them for employment through the education and qualifications necessary to exercise a profession.
